How to Serve

Serving in foosball is your immediate advantage to gain control of the ball. Don't blow the serve! Flip a coin to see who serves first. After that, whichever team has been scored upon is the one that serves. And when it's your serve, it's your chance to take immediate control of the game. And, you do that by spinning the ball to your 5-man. That's right! It's perfectly legal to spin the ball to your own man. In fact, it's completely foolish not to do so. I know, I know--some people claim that it's cheating, but guess what? They're wrong. So, here's how you do it:

1. Grab the ball with your right hand.
2. Cover the serving hole with our left hand.
3. Place the ball in the serving hole with your thumb on the ball at the 11:00 position.
4. Grab your 5-man rod with your left hand.
5. Spin the ball counter-clockwise with your thumb
6. Practice this until you can do it 10 out of 10 times.
7. NEVER BLOW THE SERVE!!
